The Process of Installing Epoxy Flake Floors

In order for the independent flooring technicians at Hudson Valley Epoxy Floors to install the flake flooring system, they must first examine the existing floor surface to identify any defects and cracks. Proper preparation including filling of cracks may be performed to ensure the final flooring system will last many years. The floors surface must be sanitized, and all oils and dirt's must be removed. Once the surface is dry and clean, the base primer coat is applied. This ensures the flake flooring system can adhere to the flooring substrate.
Once the primer base is applied, our flooring installation experts will broadcast either a custom color flake blend or a custom quartz blend. This will be a heavy application to ensure seamless finish. Then multiple layers of commercial grade epoxy resin is applied. The resins they use are only of the highest grade. They don't cut corners. If requested buy the customer, the flooring technician will install a cove base around the perimeter of the floor. This will ensure a water tight finish and beautiful aesthetic.  The last and final step is the application of a UV and scratch resistant clear top coat. This top coat ensures your floors will last and withstand all the elements. Every flooring system installed will be 100% unique.
